FRC Team 6905
Tear-A-Byte
The FIRST Robotics Competition: in a 6-week sprint, we design, build, and program a 110-lb industrial robot and compete on a global stage.
Industrial Robots
Our robots run on motors, pneumatics, and advanced control systems.
Engineering Process
We iterate through CAD, prototyping, fabrication, and integration.
Build Season
We go from kickoff to competition-ready in six intense weeks.
Competition Structure
We compete at regional and district events on the road to the world championship.

Features & Design Process
Our FRC robot design process is a collaborative cycle across our CAD, mechanical, electrical, and programming teams. We begin with CAD and engineering design, developing concepts and modeling the robot and its subsystems. Our mechanical team then fabricates and assembles the robot from those designs, while our electrical team installs the wiring, motors, sensors, and control hardware. Once the robot is running, our programming team writes the software that controls its mechanisms and enables autonomous and driver-controlled operation. Throughout, every team works together to test, refine, and iterate the robot for competition.
